The Scots.
When I went to Newfoundland, I was literally whacked upside my head by the crazy, rugged beauty and the feeling as if I was literally at the very End of The World (and you sort of are, at least as we know it).
That, and the complete, utter unpretentious nature of everyone I met ( At first I always thought that there was something up: this dude can't be THAT nice!) But no, they actually are that nice.
If you've not been, get going! You totally won't regret it.
Put your guard down though, they're not 'normal'!
