BTW it was awesome to see the 632m Shanghai Tower in person. It's the only megatall I've ever seen. On the other hand, I don't recall seeing as many skyscrapers in Beijing as shown in the photos above. They must have added lots of skyscrapers in just a couple years.

Yeah, it's not smoggy every day but believe me, when it's bad, it's bad.
One time I went up in an observation tower in Beijing and the furthest I could see was across the street.
