Thanks 5seconds for the response. Pretty much as I had thought, the plan from the Nation/AT/KGL covers all the bases and is the best possible solution.

The main organizer of Save Lakeview is an Economics prof at MRU. Seeing as she is organizing Save Lakeview, it’s no rocket scientist Level work to figure out she will experience a lot of bad transportation options over the next few years for no payoff. My guess is that her group is a lot of students and staff walking/cycling/short drive to/from home and MRU.

Also, the Save Lakeview group is definitely anti-development, they don’t like commercial development in or around their community, period.

The Save Lakeview group is also anti First Nations, or they don’t understand the relationship with the First Nation is at the federal level and not at local or community level. The is no requirement for the Tau Tina to consult with the neighbouring communities.
