[Centropolis]

Geographically/outdoors speaking, Sacramento is one (or may be the most) of the most under rated metros in the country. 2 hours to the sea, 2 hours to the sierras, some great stuff in between, great climate, sunshine, not too dry and definitely not isolated..though I'm sure very hot by coastal California standards. Unfortunately I didn't spend any quality time around town last time I came through, I was beat feeting for my hotel in SF after not showering in the Sierras and Nevada for several days (had to wear a down coat in the nevada mountains high above the desert, freaking awesome!).
