With New York City just eight miles to the east and Newark just across the river, Harrison MetroCentre is in the center of everything.
All the business, cultural riches, shopping and glamour of Manhattan are a short train ride away. Just across the bridge in Newark are the acclaimed live theater and musical events of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Sports fans can catch the action of New York Giants and Jets football, New Jersey Devils hockey, and New Jersey Nets basketball at the nearby Meadowlands. At the MetroCentre itself, the New York Red Bulls professional soccer team will play in the soon-to-be built Red Bull Park, and the outstanding recreational areas of the Jersey Shore are just down the Garden State Parkway.
