This is just awesome for someone like myself that also experienced Vegas regularly in the 90's, though, probably three years into the decade.

Yep, Vegas World is what became Stratosphere. Vegas World was probably the funkiest casino I ever witnessed.

BTW, interesting fact, but The Strasophere is the only major Strip casino actually located in the City of Las Vegas. I also seem to remember that earlier in construction, the Tower was actually known as Stupak Tower, and I also in the city when the tower, still under construction, caught fire after having been struck by lightening. I was also in the city, a few blocks away, in 1994 when the Hilton Hotel sign was blown down in a freak windstorm. The sound of crashing, bending metal I'll never forget.
