No big surprise here but the Couture is delayed AGAIN...

Construction on The Couture, a 44-story luxury apartment tower planned by Barrett Lo Visionary Development near the lakefront in downtown Milwaukee, is slated to begin Dec. 4, according to Barrett Lo owner and founder Rick Barrett.

So apparently groundbreaking is set for December 4th but this building has been pushed back time and time again since 2012. Honestly, I'm not holding out hope that this thing gets built. If I were a betting man, come December 4th, this thing will be delayed again. It will play out where come December, they will announce a delay until after Summerfest to avoid dealing with that. Once Summerfest is over, it will get delayed again for some reason, and so on and so on. This has pretty much been the cycle of delays the last 4 years.
Don't get your hopes up that this one gets built. Silver lining? 777 is under construction and BMO Harris Financial Center looks like a go.
