A residential tower has been permitted for East 44th Street, in the United Nations neighborhood, on a block where there are a number of development sites.
The tower will be condo, with very large units, and high ceiling heights. Probably another ultra-expensive sliver tower.

There's two other potential sites on this block that have recently changed hands, so this development could have some company. I imagine the UN neighborhood is popular with international types, so that's the likely market.
