The way I see it, those southern Nunavut communities would benefit significantly with a road. I see prices going down because they'd finally be able to ship things up in a truck. I also think Arviat's and Rankin Inlet's populations would grow, maybe even at the expense of Iqaluit, due to the ease of access. I agree with Chadillac though, the main reason I want this to happen is just because I'd like to see the north become a truly integrated part of our country.
