In Winnipeg we haven't had much in the way of -30C weather yet, so we have been spared some of the extreme colds.
Otherwise, I think our averages have worked out almost in step with the normals.
Decent amount of snow on the ground. A few mild days here or there.
You could set your watch to Winnipeg winter weather.
