It's been extremely mild in Edmonton due to the El Nino winds coming in from the Pacific. It was really crazy seeing it +5 in Edmonton while Toronto was freezing in the -20s on the weekend. The sheer number of above-zero days has been astonishing, to say the least. Certain scenes look more like April than February right now and there have been reports of early buddings on plants. I think we've only had 3-4 days in into the -20s and we haven't hit -30 yet (or if we did, it was very late at night)... knock on wood.
