THE two latest projects in Grocon's $1 billion-plus development at the Carlton Brewery site on the northern edge of the central business district are about to hit the market.
The apartment blocks - by ARM and Minifie Nixon - and the Denton Corker Marshall project are now being offered to prospective buyers.
The three projects total more than 1500 apartments, with DCM's 90-storey, 280-metre tower the largest with 800 apartments.
Grocon spokeswoman Jane Wilson said the apartments were aimed at all parts of the market. ''Students - with Melbourne University and RMIT nearby - are an obvious target, but we are also interested in the high end.''
The apartments are about 40 square metres and 80 sq m for respectively the one- and two-bedroom units, with prices starting from $290,000.
