My kind of thread. In Montreal, the biggest bar (Reputedly in North America) was once the Old (Vieux) Munich beer hall. 2 stories, around central atrium, with a huge rotating stage of ompah musicians wearing lederhosen, and lovely madchen bargirls in drndles. Used to have 150-proof schnapps on offer.
