India is growing at 8%/year, has 1.2 billion people, and Mumbai is the country's business hub. If any city needs skyscrapers, it's Mumbai. It's growth rate far exceeds Toronto and has far less land. What would you suggest they build instead, thousands of subdivisions? Perhaps, thousands of strip malls to house businesses and another 3 million shacks for homes?

13 super talls is a good start for Mumbai, but they need hundreds of them. Mumbai needs them.
