Did anyone read the opinion column today written by Dreschel. titled "Cpl. Cirillo was not a hero" Point blank thats what the heading was in the print version, and for a while was the title of the online version.

The public is very upset with Dreschel and calling for his dismissal. I find the article digusting, and trying to garner attention and reads for the newspaper.

Who is Dreschel one to determine what a hero is. Because he sits behind a big desk and can read a literal defintion from a dictionary.Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But an opinion as public as this 3 days after the soldier was buried. Terribly poor taste, the editor should take flack for this as well.

The article was clearly written to upset people and bring attention to the newspaper. Just disgusting in my opinion. Report the news, dont try to be something you're not.
