St. Louis puts Seattle to shame in terms of parks in its downtown area. Most of our green space is on the downtown fringes, not really in the core. Your parks can be walked to at lunch our from the largest buildings.
And benches in the shade (or what will be shade in a few years)...a concept we need to learn from.
