WOW! The scale between that structure and the homes/businesses in the foreground is astonishing!
Aleks - I am not an expert on Japan (only spent a little time there), but most of the cities are made of very dense, but short buildings like this, with dozens of larger clusters springing from train stations, major roads, or other significant places. You could be a few blocks from a huge skyscraper, and nothing around you would be more than 3 stories.
