Apparently Larry Tanenbaum, MLSE Chairman, is pursuing a WNBA team for Toronto. The story is that he’s pursuing this on his own and not as part of MLSE and that he is planning to use the coca-Cola Colosseum at the CNE grounds, rather than Scotiabank Arena. Although you never know, if crowds are higher than expected, he may move it over there.
