There are times when it feels maxed out now and there are just two lines running through now. It's going to be a b*tch in a couple of years. As was posted above, DART is working on a second alignment running through downtown. Most of the ones I have seen are either at street level or a subway running by/under the Government District and connecting back up around Deep Ellum if I'm not mistaken. I don't think DART has officially settled on an alignment yet. This is the latest map I could find showing the proposals, but I could be way off...
