Lakefront Freezer Queen building sold for $3 million

The former Freezer Queen site on Buffalo's Outer Harbor was sold at a foreclosure auction for $3 million.
The successful bidders, a group of local investors under the name Queen City Landing, say they plan a hotel and condominium complex for the site. They did not disclose a timetable for opening it.
The Freezer Queen manufacturing plant, located on Fuhrmann Boulevard, shut down in July 2006
