What is the point of a suburban supertall? If you build a giant tower in the middle of a park/campus environment, you lose the whole appeal, at least to my liking.
I guess I'm more of an urbanist nerd than a skyscraper nerd, becuase these types of towers do nothing for me. There's no context whatsoever. It could be off a highway exit in Texas, or in Dubai, or on the face of the Moon for that matter.

That I can agree with.
I'm sure there's some master-planned office/residential/retail district to be built around these supertalls, but yeah, it's really awkward-looking having them surrounded by empty green space.
