Sunday, Post-CA Governor's Stay At Home Order, Manhattan Beach, 3.22.2020
Manhattan Beach, California, the Sunday after Governor Newsom ordered the whole state to stay at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic. My partner and I decided to hang out and walk on The Strand, and see how people were practicing social distancing.
Gelato And Angels is a pretty good gelato place. Because of the social distancing, only one person or small group of people allowed in the shop at at time. The proprietor seemed very happy we came in, and was very nice to us.

I thought this condo development was nice for newer construction; this is definitely not a generic Home Depot door. I will say that in general, Manhattan Beach doesn't have good architecture... and I mainly mean that for its commercial corridors. It has some nice old bungalows left over from the early 20th Century, but a lot of the residential is post-war blah, with some totally tasteless tacky monstrosities and oversized modern thrown in.
