In Burlington, I'd apologize for the view of the suburban industrial and commercial wasteland seen from the QEW... definitely not the city's best side. Also, aside from a few big festivals and some nice places to go downtown, it's kind of boring here... though to many that's not a bad thing. And up until last year I would have apologized for the Brant Street Pier... which, because of various construction and legal issues, took nearly 7 years to complete!
In Hamilton, the view from the Skyway Bridge deserves a sorry (though it can be an impressive sight - especially at night... and there is still a lot of pride associated with the steel mills). In town, there are certain aromas that call for one depending on the wind direction. I'd also apologize for most of city council, and to people who get confused trying to navigate all the one-way streets.
