Even Sapperton and Braid were more or less ghost stations. Sapperton was built because of the hospital. Braid now serves as a major bus loop for the area and Sapperton has a few condos (and now it has Translink's HQ).

I should have worded that better. Why aren't there talks about building the station in the near future now that there's appropriate density being built. Sapperton station isn't too far away and unless more high density buildings are proposed along east Columbia then there won't be much more density now that Victoria Hill is effectively built out.
It would be awesome if they made the Woodlands station as part of the Pattullo bridge replacement project, being so close together.
