River at Wells downtown apartment plan dropped
Tom Daykin , Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
9:15 a.m. CDT October 20, 2016
A proposal to develop an 18-story, high-end apartment building on downtown Milwaukee's riverfront has been dropped.
The River at Wells was planned for 107-115 E. Wells St. by developer Jason Ladner and was approved in May by the Plan Commission.
The $17 million development would have featured a street-level restaurant that included an outdoor deck, a small office on the second floor and 61 apartments on the remaining levels.
