Per STR's request, I've uploaded some pictures of the original WTC's lowrises, plaza and concourse. These are NOT pictures I took. Rather, I collected them from the web soon after 9/11/01 (since I was afraid people would start removing all pics of the WTC from the web). Note that these pictures run the gamut from recent to rather old (i.e., some are from before the original 7 WTC was built).
Unfortunately, pictures of this area of the WTC are hard to find. I'm afraid there's only one dimly lit picture of the concourse in this collection. And, the lowrises don't appear much, either. But, this is better than nothing, I guess.
If any of you guys have more pictures of these areas, please share them. Actually, if you guys have ANY uncommon pics of the WTC, it'd be great to see them. (By "uncommon", I mean things other than the two towers taken from across the river
