The marble should have been cleaned, not replaced.











It was art deco PLUS post modernism, and it didn't suite either to the fullest extent but was much better than what we have now. Plus it was out of the ordinary, and stood out in a good way, unlike the current building which stands out in a bad way. It's good to be different yet still fit in NYC. Was it the greatest building? NO. Was it under appreciated? YES. Do I understand why they renovated it? YES
