And Calgarian, precast is mainly used as an architectural feature or veneer, what you are probably thinking of is tilt-up construction, which is a form of cast in place... but yeah mainly used for 1-3 storey warehouses and office parks with large laydown areas.

my appologies, you're right.
i kept checking in on this thread till the concrete debate went away... when i checked in (last few posts -quickly) to see
pc, cip, etc still being discussed i was getting annoyed and responded with that 'almost-diatribe'.
and i'll admit, it's actually tough being 'condescending' on this thread regarding construction because most contributers are pretty sharp and have knowledge (of bldg/& sciences,etc)
