Expanding on the Green Bay Packers scenario, what is Winnipeg's population base within a 1.5 hour drive from the MTS centre? I believe it is over one million inhabitants, This would include places like the Pembina valley and Steinbach - both of which are the fastest growing areas in Manitoba. St. Andrews has a population of 30,000 and has a very rapid rate of growth. All places not included in the metro population of Winnipeg (700,000). Metro does not mean NHL market area.
