I like the simpler, revised version better. The circuit board design is an interesting design, but it relies solely upon a gimmick, which in my opinion would not age well, and look outdated very quickly. It's like getting a sleeve tattoos while drunk one weekend: it seems like the coolest idea at the time, until you start to slow down your partying days, and you want to appear more responsible in a job interview.
