Part of the problem is the fact that spire heights aren't included in official DOB filings, but are shown on drawings in the zoning diagram. The drawings are usually a reliable source for height, but this one hasn't had an updated filing.
As far as filings, these are the last two that reflect building heights...

I'm still not crazy about this one. Particularly from this angle. The proportions just look clunky and wrong.
