I'm not really a fan of the grates on some local examples. That is unless the design gets really creative or playful as opposed to large expanses of chrome or brushed aluminum color panels.

However, I've seen some extremely high end sunshade louver / grates that look awesome. But they are very costly. Therefore the majority of perforated metal panels i don't care for as much. Plus your flexibility in panel design is dictated by open air space for natural exhaust when you are screening a garage. Generally it runs around 50% open when you aren't mechanically exhausting.
