Apache Corp. has signed a one-year lease extension for its Galleria-area office space, giving the Houston-based exploration and production company a bit more time to decide whether it will move forward on an earlier-announced plan to build a new tower nearby.
Its lease for 524,000 square feet in Post Oak Central will now expire at the end of 2019, property owner Cousins Properties Corp. of Atlanta announced Tuesday. The company maintained its original square footage on the lease, which originally was scheduled to expire in December 2018.
