Strongly considering relocating to Berlin this year! And regarding your comment in another thread, Berlin is quite en-vogue with both Angelinos and New Yorkers (I am from LA, and I am familiar with NYC). I currently live in Washington, a much more political and collegiate city, and since it is a bit behind in terms of trends, the connection to Berlin is largely political/embassy in nature, but one definitely still exists.
