I'm a bit stunned, but this nugget fell through the cracks here...

New No Frills opens on west Hamilton Mountain

A new 20,000-square-foot grocery store is open and serving the southwest Mountain.

Paul and Adele Henderson opened the new No Frills store at the corner of Stone Church and Upper Paradise on March 27.

Paul started in the grocery business working for his father in Niagara Falls in 1983.

Adele met Paul when she first started working with No Frills in 1995 in Welland. They’re been married 19 years and franchisees for 13 years.

Before opening the Upper Paradise store, the couple ran a No Frills in Elmira.

The new west Mountain store is one of the first to feature an updated look.

“No Frills is still committed to value and pricing for customers, but this is a new look just to freshen things up,” said Paul.

With the nearest grocery store nearly two kilometres away, the Hendersons see an opportunity to do well in an underserved area.

“There is a need for a neighbourhood store here,” says Paul.
It's nice to see that that part of Hamilton has a closer option for people to bag some food stuffs than the Meadowlands now. =)
