To your point, the footprint is relatively small, but they'll still have to figure out where to put the amount of meeting space they'll need to match the room count. I'm guessing 35,000+ sq ft. or so. And, FYI, that's why both JW and Fairmont have substantial podiums -- so they can deal with large amounts of contiguous meeting space.

As for the height; the plot is basically 1 block X ½ block in size. Thus, if the tower of this "Marriott" were to exactly match the size of the site, then it would be a little wider than the main tower portions of the JW and Fairmont (same length, however). So, I doubt this tower will approach the JW or Fairmont in height (unless their is a big change in design from the concept proposal).
As for meeting space; it may be minimal since this tower is supposed to be directly connected to the new convention center expansion. "Supposed" to be...
