^I'm aware that Johnson collaborated with Van de Rohe in designing the Seagram Building. However, the main ideas and execution as far as I know were Van de Rohe's.
Anyway, back on topic. I always found the stilts on the Citigroup Building to be fascinating. Until I actually saw the building up close, I had no idea it was built that way. I had no problems with its stability when I first saw it and I have no problems now. Of course, had I been around back when it was first built and was still bolted together, I would have been a bit queasy knowing that a stiff breeze would knock it down.
