Actually
Bay-Adelaide Centre East and
100 Adelaide West are two totally distinct projects about a couple blocks from each other.
In the following picture,
Bay-Adelaide Centre West is on the right. It was by WZMH Architects, completed in 2009, and is now KPMG headquarters. The shorter tower on the left is
Bay-Adelaide Centre East. It's starting construction in the fall, is by KPMB Architects and Adamson Associates, and will be the new headquarters for Deloitte:

100 Adelaide West, by Kohn Pedersen Fox, will be a couple blocks to the west, appearing to the right of the photo above. It has yet to secure a lead tenant, but given that they've already started evicting tenants in the existing building, construction is probably not too far off:

In the photo above, you can see the west-facing side of
Bay-Adelaide Centre West.
Once both towers have gone up, the north side of Adelaide Street will have a very imposing streetwall, since
Shangri-La is also on the north side of Adelaide (albeit a few blocks west).
