Perennial Hotel & Residences:

This high-density, mixed-use project will include an office tower adjacent to a 36-story apartment/hotel. The office portion will be a 29-story, 367,000-s.f. boutique, podium-style building with eight levels of above-grade parking and 4,600 s.f. of retail at the ground level. The development is being designed to meet USGBC requirements, and is striving to achieve LEED Gold.

Bernicia Place:

Bernicia Place is an apartment complex for the elderly being developed by Harris County Housing Authority. The complex is a 120-unit apartment community on approximately 6 acres of land. This transit oriented design (TOD) is adjacent to a major bus transit facility. The project also includes 5000 S.F. of Commercial space to respond to the commercial nature of the site.

1919 Smith Renovation:

The recently completed renovation of downtown's Mickey Leland Federal Building transformed a dark, hulking tower into an energy-efficient glass structure with a landscaped plaza welcoming visitors, many of whom visit the property on passport business.

Moody Center:

The Moody Center for the Arts under construction at Rice University signals a change in attitude about what defines a well-rounded education in the 21st century. The $30 million building's galleries, studios, theater and classrooms will host programs that require even science and engineering students to tread into art.

HCC Coleman Campus Expansion:

The project includes the addition of a 10 story, 248,000-square-foot facility designed to meet the needs of the Houston Medical Community and provide training for high skill and high growth occupations. The Coleman Healthcare Educational Facility will house traditional classrooms as well as simulation laboratories designed to replicate the physical surroundings to be encountered by graduate medical technicians and to instruct students on the use of state-of-the art medical equipment.

Ellington Airport (Spaceport):

The Federal Aviation Administration granted a launch site license to make Ellington Airport the 10th commercial spaceport in the U.S., the Houston Airport System announced June 30.
Now, HAS can turn its attention to establishing the required infrastructure and support facilities needed to accommodate reusable launch vehicles, which will launch horizontally like commercial aircraft, rather than vertically.
The spaceport could be used to launch micro satellites, train astronauts, conduct zero-gravity experiments, manufacture spacecraft and other potential activities, HAS said.

River Oaks Senior:

The Village of River Oaks will be a 195-unit senior housing community located at 1015 S, Shepherd Dr., near the intersection of South Shepherd and Allen Parkway. It will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care units and will be managed by Retirement Center Management, an affiliate of Bridgewood Property Co., which is developing the project with Harrison Real Estate Capital.

Gateway Park:

Gateway Park is a high-end, mixed-use development in West Houston located on the Northeast corner of I-10 and Barker Cypress Road. Immediately adjacent to the Texas Medical West Campus, Gateway Park will be the first high rise development viewed when entering the Energy Corridor from the West on the Katy Freeway. The project will be easily accessed by direct on/off ramps in both directions on I-10.

Camden McGowen Station:



Health and Biomedical Sciences Building 2:

The Health and Biomedical Sciences Building 2 (HBSB 2) integrates teaching, research and clinical programs in the second phase of the development of the Univ. of Houston’s biomedical campus. The nine-story facility provides a new home for the College of Pharmacy and three floors of expanded research space for the university-wide Dept. of Research. These consolidated lab facilities will promote critical workforce training in the pharmaceutical and biomedical sectors, while its flexible lab spaces will support translational research and collaboration among pharmacological research groups.

Renderings of Republic Square reveal a 35-acre mixed-use development proposed in the heart of Houston's Energy Corridor between Interstate 10 and Memorial Drive, bordering Terry Hershey Park.

The developer, PM Realty Group, is committing $1 billion to building a bustling mixed-use community of upscale apartments, outdoor restaurants, hotels and high-rise office towers housing companies seeking to recruit a younger generation of workers who value the outdoors, collaboration with colleagues and an abundance of amenities.
