Container shopping mall pops up in Kaohsiung

(Taiwan News) -- As colorful shipping containers becoming one of the most popular Instagram geotagged locations, Kaohsiung city recently set up a pop-up store built with shipping containers KUBIC (集盒．Kubic), and is having its grand opening on March 31.





Located in south-western Taiwan and facing the Taiwan Strait, Kaohsiung used to be the world's second largest container port. To foster atmosphere for artistic creation in the city, the Kaohsiung city government decided to build a creativity park in downtown Kaohsiung.





Besides exhibitions, new and trendy mid-sized shops by up-and-coming new designers and editorial shops can be found there.




Operating Hours: 10:00~18:00 weekdays (off on Tuesday) 10：00～20：00 weekends
