The Burj Dubai looks good. The design fits it's height and everything. I also don't think that the Burj should go in an area where buildings are similar in height because after all it is the centerpiece of the Dubai skyscraper.
I think 1,800 seems like a good height for this building. The SWFC is 1,600+ and it looks great. A building 1,800 ft+ seems very realistic. It would make the area better looking imo. The Gensler design is great. I wish the roof was over 2,000 feet tall though. And if it wasn't for the cheating Pentononiumnimanthing then the three tallest buildings in the world would be the Burj Dubai, Shanghai Center and the Russia Tower which make a great trio.
