The housing market is doing very well:

Also, from the article, it sounds like the most intense activity is in the city, in the Elmwood Village and Allentown, so that's a good sign for the city's continuing resurgence. I personally know a couple people that looked in Elmwood recently but bought in other areas of the West Side because they were priced out.
