I like this comment because it really gets you thinking. The suspense is crazy. NYC has so many clusters that rival many other cities. JC, DoBro, Lower, the madness that is Midtown, Flushing (Also has many developments in the pipeline), and hopefully Newark will become a high rise boom town in the future. Now LIC. The idea that LIC might eclipse DoBro is exciting. I'm probably missing others in my list, but you get the point.
The Bronx too will be interesting. Keep an eye on the South Bronx. Its up and coming development wise. Harlem too.
