I've heard before, that Yonge and Eglinton is Uptown, but that must've been since it was the north are of Toronto before the 1998 algamation of Toronto's boroughs. I personally, having grown up in Y&E consider it now midtown, and yonge and sheppard the uptown. In about 10 years though, it might be hard to tell where downtown ends and midtown begins.
