I think you are off too. The $253 billion is for the CMA, not the city.... and the $323 billion is probably for the Golden Horseshoe.... Show me your proof.

I think the US and Canada must count GDP differently... In the US if you by an item for $100 and then return it to the store and get a refund, that counts for $200 toward GDP. Whereas in Canada, when that happens, it counts for nothing toward GDP.
