Well it's a hell of a lot better than a stand alone 1100 stall parking garage. The fact is this is Milwaukee, not Chicago. The car is much more necessary there than in Chicago and, frankly, it's much less of a burden. Until Milwaukee gets the street car up and running and fills in more of the land in and around downtown, it's going to be hard to get people, companies, and developers to change their habits.

In the meantime, let's all celebrate the fact that Milwaukee is adding yet another large tower. Hopefully the pile driver is, in fact, a harbinger of construction.
