This airport looks like it will be awesome. It's great that it will have direct rail connections, too. Thanks for posting this thread, Lear.

@Alchemist Redux: I would assume it's not because Berlin isn't an important city, because it is probably Germany's most important city, but rather because Frankfurt takes the cake for Germany's airport. If you are from Chicago and traveling to Berlin, you go to Frankfurt (or perhaps Amsterdam) and connect flights or take the ICE or other rail transport.
