Exactly, and this building will basically be the tallest building west of the river corridor by 100'+. We are talking about a nearly 600' building fronting Jefferson St. For the location this is a very significant project. That's not to mention the interesting hotel/office combo which I don't think we've ever seen built from scratch before in Chicago. Only conversions like the IBM building are hotel/office. The design, despite being Goettsch, is pretty interesting if only as a result of it's program.
