I like this video because it gives a rather accurate taste of the music scene in St. John's.
It's filmed during a live album launch at The Ship (there's one every weekend, it seems). The Ship is probably the most famous folk/alternative music venue but the crowd, while sophisticated, is very generous. So the vibe is always very welcoming, encouraging.
