It just makes the schtick a whole lotte funnier.
I agree with the tapering being too much. It's tall enough that perspective along with a slight taper would have achieved a better illusion of excessive height. Asia is giving me such a warped sense of what is tall anymore. 150m. Pfft. 200m. Pfft. 300m. Pfft.
And I live in a city where 100m would be the tallest thing by quite a bit.
